DCS are an extremely well run family team, from the office to the onsite operatives. We were kept informed at every level of the procedure, from Chris completing initial survey and quotation, and Barry the design consultation, to Ryan and his team performing the groundworks. We were given a cancellation slot of a week in September to our advantage. Our existing concrete drive and path was broken up and the rest of the 46sqm prepared and subbase laid with all excess material cleared away on the first day. Concreted and printed on the second, washed and cleaned on the third, and finally sealed on the fourth. Everyone worked hard and well together and cleaned up after each day. The site team were managed by Barry and Ryan, leading by example and getting their hands dirty too. My wife and myself are ecstatic with the finished product and will certainly recommend this company and their work to all our friends and neighbours.

Any other comments? Everything was implemented as advised + stress free. Our drive had a number of challenges due to its non-flat nature with drops from the curb, dips in the middle. The space now sets the house off and looks so much bigger. We are counting down the days to Tuesday when we start parking on it. Really happy love the design + the end finish.

Given the relative frequency of blooming with printed concrete drives, I would recommend that you highlight this early on; as well as advising how it is rectified. We are quite relaxed about it but I can see customers fretting about ‘stains’ on their lovely new drives.

Were you impressed with the initial sales representation? Yes. I contacted DCS for a quote to re-seal a 10-year old concrete drive installed by another company. Phone calls with Jackie gave me the confidence to give them the work.

Did you find our communication efficient? Yes. Excellent 2-way phone conversations with Jackie gave me full details of the procedure and timescale, plus assurances on social-distancing by the operative working under COVID-19 restrictions.

Were we courteous & helpful? Yes. I found no fault with any DCS employee who were always pleasant, professional and patient in explaining exactly what needed to be done in preparation and during the work.

Are you pleased with your installation? Yes. The driveway surface, colour and grouting (mastic) in expansion joints and surrounds appears to have restored the previous impressive appearance.

Was the site left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition? Yes. No problems. Steve left instructions re allowing sufficient time to elapse before driving or parking a vehicle on the drive.

Would you be happy to recommend us to your friends? Yes. I should have no problem with recommending DCS for their re-sealing service and general professional approach.

Any other comments? My appraisal of DCS. They have done an outstanding job that has enhanced my property and delighted me. The standard of work that has been carried out from an exceptional crew of lads that worked through whatever the weather threw at them, rain, sleet they just carried on working. The quality of workmanship is second to none. Most of my friends & neighbours have commented and admired the finish of my driveway. Everyone commented on your crew and how hard they worked, how tidy they left the site. In my opinion DCS is a great company with a fabulous product, excellent standard of workmanship, also very high on Customer Service satisfaction. They employ an exceptional outstanding crew of hardworking lads other companies would love to have in their employ. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company.

Were you impressed with the initial sales representation? Yes. Ricky, then Barry visted and went over the plans in increasing levels of detail as the survey progressed. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted at first, so their experience was invaluable.

Did you find the survey information helpful & accurate? Yes, it was quite clear once explained. I found the information on the process on your website very helpful, also the aftercare information.

Did you find our communication efficient? Yes. Jackie was very good at phone me regularly to keep me informed of the process at each stage and communicating the causes of delays (due to weather rather than job).

Were we courteous & helpful? Yes, at every aspect. See above re Jackie’s phone calls, but also the men doing the work acted courteously and professionally. I was particularly grateful and happy with the work Ryan did managing the project – on one Saturday he came on his own to progress the works to the next stage.

Are you pleased with your installation? Yes. It looks really nice. I wasn’t sure if I was choosing the right colour & pattern, but I am very pleased. Neighbours and friends have said they think it looks nice.

Was the site left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition? Yes, the site was left clean & tidy after each work – important to me that it was as the project was stretched out over quite a long time. Thanks also for considering the impact not just on me but on my neighbours as I was concerned the disruption would affect them, but it didn’t.

Would you be happy to recommend us to your friends? Yes.

Any other comments? Nothing more to add really. You did a great job. The only slight problem was the time it took, but I appreciate that was partly down to the weather, but also another job you had on at Gatwick. But you did keep me informed of delays. Thanks also for being aware of the impact the disruption, noise etc. would have on my neighbours. There were no problems there. Thank you!
